As a reference, the estimated delivery time for requested items in typical situations is as follows:
- Physical book requests obtainable from local UGC-funded university libraries: 3 - 4 working days
- Physical book requests obtainable from overseas libraries: 4 - 8 weeks
- Digital article/ book chapter requests obtainable from partner libraries: 2 - 3 working days
- Digital article/ book chapter requests obtainable from other non-local sources: 1 - 2 weeks
However, the delivery time for the requested items is dependent on the library or the organisation that is providing the materials. Delays can happen due to a number of factors, including but not limited to, rare items that are difficult to source, postage issues, incorrect, incomplete or damaged items sent by the suppliers, etc.
Do rest assure that the Library strives to deliver your requested materials to you as soon as practicable.
