Open Access (OA) generally refers to making scientific and scholarly knowledge and information freely accessible online. This makes your works more visible and accessible to both the research community and the public.

There are 2 ways to make your research works open access:

  • Deposit the final accepted manuscript of your work in a PolyU’s repository, i.e. PIRA
  • Publish in OA journals
